In addition to being the sole clothing merchandise licensee for the Victory, Team 99 Soccer will also produce the team's non-gameday training gear and practice jerseys. "It's always great forming partnerships with those in the local soccer community," said Victory general manager Terry Fisher. "Team 99 Soccer produces a fantastic product, and we're excited to be working with the company." Team 99 Soccer is owned and operated in Santa Cruz, Calif., by Jahan Jaferian, who is a lifelong soccer fan and accomplished goalkeeper. The company provides equipment to clubs all over California and holds a series of soccer clinics and camps for players of all ages, offering individualized and small-group training from talented professionals. Jaferian also operates a sports-themed family restaurant on Walnut Street in Santa Cruz called 99 Bottles, which is famous for opening 24 hours a day during the World Cup and showing soccer games on big-screen TVs throughout the week.
